- 1.In a saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- 2.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3.Add the lemon juice and continue to simmer for another 5 minutes.
- 4.In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch with 1/2 cup of water until smooth.

- 10.Once set, remove the Turkish Delight from the dish and cut it into small squares.
- 11.Toss the squares in powdered sugar to coat.
- 12.Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
