- 1.Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- 2.Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
- 3.Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- 4.Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the dough and spread it evenly.
- 5.In a skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- 6.Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until they release their moisture and turn golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- 7.Stir in half of the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- 8.Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle half of the truffle oil over the mushrooms. Toss to coat.
- 9.Spread the remaining minced garlic evenly over the pizza dough.
- 10.Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the garlic.
- 11.Arrange the sautéed mushrooms on top of the cheese.
- 12.Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped thyme leaves over the mushrooms.
- 13.Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- 14.Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
- 15.Remove from the oven and drizzle the remaining truffle oil over the hot pizza.
- 16.Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
