  1. 1.Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2.In a small bowl, whisk together the tamarind paste, soy sauce, brown sugar, chili flakes, and 1/4 cup of water to make the sauce.
  3. 3.In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the tofu and cook for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
