- 1.In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
- 2.In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- 3.Fold the whipped cream mixture into the mascarpone cheese until well combined.
- 4.Dip the ladyfingers in the cooled espresso or coffee, and layer them in the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish.
- 5.Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- 6.Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and remaining mascarpone mixture.
- 7.Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- 8.Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
