- 1.Preheat oven to 200C.
- 2.Heat butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, and carrots and cook until soft.
- 3.Add meat to the pan and cook until browned.
- 4.Add flour to the pan and stir until combined.
- 5.Slowly add stock to the pan, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- 6.Roll out the puff pastry and cut into circles to fit the bottom and top of your pie dish.
- 7.Line the bottom of the pie dish with pastry and add the meat mixture.
- 8.Top with the remaining pastry and brush with beaten egg.
- 9.Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
