  1. 1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. 2.Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.
  3. 3.In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender. Drain fat.
  4. 4.Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, and oregano. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. 5.In a medium bowl, combine cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, and egg.

  7. 7.Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 25 minutes or until bubbly. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
