- 1.In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 2.Fold in the mascarpone cheese and whipped cream until well combined.
- 3.In a shallow dish, whisk together the espresso and coffee liqueur.
- 4.Dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, then arrange in a single layer in the bottom of an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- 5.Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- 6.Repeat with another layer of espresso-dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- 7.Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- 8.Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
