  1. 1.Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2.In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. 3.In a separate large saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes until smooth and bubbly.
