- 1.Rub the inside of a fondue pot or heavy-bottomed saucepan with the garlic.

- 4.In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and lemon juice until smooth.
- 5.Stir the cornstarch mixture into the cheese mixture and continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the fondue is thick and bubbly.
- 6.Stir in the nutmeg and serve immediately with your favorite dippers!
